Nyac Premieres New Single He Titled ‘You’

Afrobeat musician NyaC has just released his newest track, which is titled “You”

How long have you been making music and what attracted you to it?
Music has always been something I love since a baby, I remember one thing I used to do was hum melodies on the streets to songs that I had no idea what was being said. I’m talkin’ about Bollywood songs aha hah but yea my interest to become a musician began at the age of 14 and has grown ever since.

My love for music comes from the process of watching a melody, rhythm, lyrics, adlibs and harmonies come together to create one project and this is how ‘you’ was created. ‘You’ is a love song which focuses on giving the love interest the subtle suggestion of reciprocating their love and affection.

What are some of the challenges you face in your career path?
At the beginning of my career, I found it very difficult to find my feet. Not knowing English fluently was a barrier for me, as well having a unique sound that I felt didn’t fit it to the current UK music scene.

But as I’ve matured and grown, improving my skill along the way, these barriers no longer hinder my confidence to release the songs I chose to create. I believe that those who gravitate toward my sound will find and enjoy it. I believe I’ve only begun my career as l am finally exploring different sounds and expressing my self more, and yet there is so much more yet to come.

Who or what inspires you or motivates you? And why?
I am someone that listens to a lot of upcoming artists, I just find myself connect with them through their sounds and their proper inspire me through that . I am talkin Shakka, Rayvanny, Zion Forster, Diamond platnumz, Wizkid, Tamera, Odeal, Daniel Ceaser and there’s a lot.

What are your friends and parents’ thoughts on your career in singing?
the journey hasn’t been easy at all, so when I see my mum finally post one of my songs on her WhatsApp status makes me realize how far I’ve come as an artist. And my friends have always been honest so when I make a bad song they tell me off.

What are your hobbies?
Besides music or when I’m not at work. I love movies, I just sit and enjoy a good movie or read and I also listen to a lot of podcasts.

What is one message you would give to your fans?
Anyone that listens, watches, likes, comments and shares! I just want you to know that it really means a lot to me and I just want to keep releasing more music that makes you still want to do that.

The love that I’ve been receiving since I started releasing music last year it’s been amazing and I’m so humble and grateful for each and everyone of you! So stay positive, drink more water and listen to my music haha.
