Organizers of the annual Students Festival, Crossmark Marketing have scheduled the 9th edition of the awards with the theme “Student, The Greatest Assets of Ghana” on November 25th, 2022 at the National Theatre in Accra.
The Universal Merchant Bank Ghana Tertiary Awards is a platform to celebrate students with an Innovative, Dynamic Framework for the Exchange of Ideas in Developing Knowledge and Great Achievements.
The Award Scheme also connects Institutions and Students, Equips Students with Skills of Picking up Leadership Roles, Inspire and Empower them to affect the Economic Development and Bring Social Change.
In an interview with the Administrative Secretary, Ms. Stephanie Egyir, she said, “The 2022 Universal Merchant Bank Ghana Tertiary Awards had over 20,000 students filing for nomination and had 1,200 students qualifying out of the huge numbers. The night will be honouring 40 Winners (Students, Personalities and Organizations).
She also added that, “The 2022 Biggest Students Festival would be hosting great personalities, Students, Corporate Bodies, Institutions, Media and the General Public. And this year is pregnant with series of activities for the patrons”.
According to her, “Since 2014, the Universal Merchant Bank Ghana Tertiary Awards has produced over 200 Winners who are well-known and celebrated in their various fields of work”.
The Masters of Ceremony for the night are; MC Extraordinaire (Kwesi Omega) and Nayaa Tsidi (Host of Swift Africa – Pan African TV), Performers also billed for the night are as follows; Medikal (The Stubborn Academy President), Kobi Rana, Lali x Lola, Xlimkid and many more.
