What kick-started your songwriting journey?
Time is what finally kick-started my songwriting journey. I have been writing instrumental music for years, and I always knew that I would end up writing lyrics for these songs eventually.
But that’s the thing; I was expecting to get to that point one day, but I had absolutely no idea when that time would come. I’m still not exactly sure what I was waiting for. A couple of months ago I was at a point in my life where I seemed to be standing still, and that’s when I realized that it was time to start this journey.
What’s the most thought-provoking piece you’ve ever written?
Out of the two songs I’ve released (with many more to come), Shadow Man is definitely the most thought-provoking one. People have been interpreting it in a bunch of different ways, determined to find out who the Shadow Man really is. The mystery is what makes it such a good song!
Where’s your creative sanctuary?
My creative sanctuary is everywhere, but my home studio is where I bring ideas to life!
What would you say is your greatest strength as an artist?
I’d say that my greatest strength as an artist is my determination to make music sound the way it used to be. I think that today’s modern music has been missing a lot of inspiration and creativity.
What is your creative process when making music?
My creative process is never something I plan. I always get random bursts of inspiration and everything comes to me all at once.
What inspired you to write your latest album/song?
My latest single, The Best, was inspired by my years of standing still before kicking off my journey as an artist. What was I waiting for? If you want to be the best you can be, you have to start now. The good things don’t just fall onto your lap, you have to seek them out and that means working hard to reach your goal.
What are your plans for extending your music beyond USA and Europe?
My plan is to keep making music and see where that takes me. I have already reached a majority of the USA as well as Europe with my songs, and I hope to one day play shows all around the world
What’s the highlight of your career so far?
The biggest highlight of my career so far is reaching over 10,000 listeners. I didn’t even expect to get 100!
What are future plans for your music and you as a brand?
My future plans are to inspire the world with my music and to touch the hearts of young musicians the same way my idols did to me.
