Who are your biggest musical influences?
My musical influences are different from my musical style. The music I listen to on a daily basis is older such as Depeche Mode, pink Floyd and the pet shop boys beyond that, he always tries to expose himself to new music

What inspired you to write “Better”?
I don’t know what inspired me for a specific track, in most of my tracks it just happens. It can happen in an hour or a few years, in this particular track it came to me after a few months of lack of creativity after moving and adjusting to a new place with one train ride from Berlin to the town of Potsdam

What message do you hope to convey through your music?
Through my music I am looking to convey a certain experience or atmosphere, my goal at the end of the day is to convey an experience to the listener and make him know me better

What has been your favourite moment or experience as a musician so far?
I look at the period of my career right now one big favourite is the fact that I’m involved in music 24/7 and that I eat and sleep music is what I’ve wanted all my life

How do you balance your personal life with your music career?
I do not. My personal life is my career and vice versa. Sometimes you also need to make time and rest from time to time or be with the family but by and large most of my day or my life is the artist that I am.

How do you handle negative criticism or feedback on your music?
I’ve had so many I can’t even remember, but the statement I’ve gotten a few times is that it’s boring or repetitive

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians trying to make it in the industry?
It will sound cliché, but be yourself, stay true to yourself, and don’t fall for unnecessary trends. In the end, what you do will catch on.
