Coline Blf is a Belgian author, performer, and filmmaker who is 23 years old and is from the city of Namur.
Coline develops works in her image merging Bedroom pop and French pop. She was inspired as a youngster by the autonomous English-speaking subculture.
Her vintage and sunny musical cosmos is inspired by artists like Clairo and Mac Demarco, as well as several French-speaking musicians like Lewis Of Man and Claire Laffut.
Her family didn’t realize how much she enjoyed singing until she was 18, despite the fact that she had been singing since she was a little child, accompanied by her guitar.
After spending a year in California, Coline decided to dive headfirst into the world of music. At first, she did it timidly and privately in her room, with no specific goals or expectations in mind.
She worked with a New York composer to produce her first track, titled “Tell Me,” which was made available online in 2018 and has had over 700,000 plays thus far. Coline, who is also a filmmaker, has been posting her work on Youtube since the year 2017.
She elevates the mundane, documents fleeting moments of her life, and discusses topics like music, photography, and the environment on her channel. She campaigns for a variety of causes, ranging from the battle against fast fashion to the fight against climate change since she is dedicated to social and environmental justice.
On September 23, 2022, She will release his debut extended play, titled “Blue Nostalgia.” It is comprised of five songs, two of which are in French and the other three in English, and each of them addresses the sentimental longing for a summer that has long since passed.
